on the bolder side
i have a good life and for this i am thankful.
however...
i think i need some spice.
life meant only two things for me lately, work and home. pretty interesting, huh? whenever i feel the need to go to some other world, i bury myself into a novel. but then, a book is still... just a book. a stimulant of imagination. a fictional world. nothing real. nothing tangible.
sometimes, i want to be carefree. to live life in full abandon. in spontaneity. to be a harum-scarum.
i want to go bungee jumping. really. seriously. whenever i imagine doing so, i knew i'd be damned scared out of my wits. which basically what makes me wanna do it more. i want to face my fear right in the face and ... just enjoy the ride.
i want to drag race. it has always been my dream to be in one. but whenever i'm in the steering wheel, i'm just plain nervous and i hate it. i guess things are different when it's your own car your talking about. but still, i want to experience speed and rush and that living-on-the-edge kind of feeling.
i want to perform. haha. i can't believe i'm saying this but really. i want to be a vocalist for a band, a rock band... uhm... ok... sige na nga alternative band na lang. hehehe. ofcourse, it would be much better if i play the bass guitar, too. i dunno, i've always had stage fright. i've had a few attempts performing in public but it just always gets the better of me. my bad. i remember, the only time i wasn't afraid of singing for a crowd was during flag ceremonies in high school. i'd gladly sing the Lupang Hinirang, on mic, mind you. but in anonymity. inside the comfort of that small corner in school where nobody can see me except the sound technician.
i want to travel and have that life-in-a-suitcase dream. who doesn't anyway? but topping the list of my dream destinations would be (1)Japan, (2)London and (3)Paris. I'd probably be documenting every stop, every landmark, every cloud-type of every trip. hay.
believe me, my list is loooooooong. from being a karate or judo athlete, a diner waitress, a UNICEF Ambassor, to being a spy, an elf and a lion trainer...oopps, i guess that last one was too much. hehehe. dunno why i end up here sitting on this red, moving chair with these little armrests and staring in front of this 14 inch monitor. yes, my friends, a 14 inch monitor. what a...blessing. hahaha.
there. the list of things i would be in the next life and the next and the next. what about you? any wildcat aching to get out?
