she's back!

i have been missing out on updating my blog big time. i guess i'm just too
busy reading everybody else's yearender reflections, new year's resolutions
and what-have-yous or i am still in the state of denial that the christmas
season really IS over. come on, it can't really be over just like that??
i mean, really...

well actually , i have been planning to write a year roundup of my own but
i refuse to be reflective this time. you know the feeling of going to a video
rental store and deciding whether to rent The Cold Mountain or White Chicks?
let's just say i choose White Chicks this time for the simple reason that
i don't want to think. similarly, i don't want to waste my brain cells pondering
on things i did and failed to do and questions i've answered and those i haven't.
'04 is over and should be done with. i'm just greatful that i have a brand new year
to start over with. i think i'd just face this new year head on ...
sabi nga ni chona mae,"Wherever!!"

so anyway, instead of chewing over my past year and be all pensive, i'll just post
a few of sam's words of wisdom...hehehe. i'm seriously thinking of making a special
section for her. here ' goes...

i once chanced on catching "lovers in paris" in the tube, it would be my first time to
see it and i was quite intrigued as to why people are glued. as i watched,
me : (watching) sino yang babaeng yan?
sam : mommy, alam mo galit si martin sa kanya kasi si carlo ang nasa puso nya
me : ah...ganun ba...

while passing thru the aurora blvd. katipunan intersection, we saw a billboard showing
Jesus and Mama Mary...
sam : mommy mag-asawa si jesus saka si mama mary. (in an as-a-matter-of-factly tone)
me : huh? hindi! mommy ni jesus si mama mary
sam : hindi! mag-asawa sila.
don't worry minutes after ay natanggap din nya ang katotohanan...hehehe

at ang pinaka winner sa lahat...

jay, me and sam are dining at kfc. being the best "tagapapak" that i am, i was savoring
the chicken down to the bones...
me : (concentrating on my chicken (bones))
sam : (with her questioning eyes) mommy...*pause*....dog ka ba?

hanggang sa muli mga katoto...
