it always ends with a videoke session...
if there's one thing good about "company-hopping", it would be that one is able to collect real friends along the way.
i decide to look at my social fate from this angle instead of wallowing on the good byes.
yes, i have (once again) moved to a new stable. i haven't quite adjusted yet but i'm giving myself one more month before i get chummy with my good old friend Lina once again. i'm keeping my hopes high, though, i know happy days will come soon.
anyway, funny how this week turned out to be a week of rendezvous with groups of friends from different companies.
i tell you, it's just what i need. a warm welcome break from the cold almost chilling feeling from the new place.
i always look forward to these meetings whether they may be dinners (which they usually are) or office visits or just hanging out for coffee. it is during these times when you feel you have never left and these people, though you have not been seeing much of them lately, are still your friends.
for some reason, a despedida would always end up with a videoke session. well, for me at least. what is it with bonnie tyler's total eclipse of the heart and ronan keating's when you say nothing at all that kinda makes you feel like...yep... this is it...i'm moving on. and your friends answer you with Raymond Lauchengco's Farewell. talk about real life musical. :-)
i better go back to work...okay okay... acting like there is work. i am not ready for another videoke session just yet.
